The class is for current Nursing Home Administrators, also known as Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Administrators, that want to obtain an RCFE Administrator certificate. This program covers the 3 required subject areas:

·         Laws, Regulations, Policies & Procedures (4 hours)

·         Use, Misuse and interaction of medications commonly used by the elderly (4 hours)

·         Resident Admission, Retention & Assessment procedures (4 hours)

If you have a current Nursing Home Administrator certificate, you are not required to take the State exam. You will be provided a certificate for the hours attended.

The 12 hours is completed as follows:

            Day 1   12:45 - 5:45

            Day 2   1 - 4

            Day 3   12:30 - 4:30
