DIABETES –  Day 1:  2 Hours

·         Diabetes is already prevalent in our senior population - and the forecast is that Type 2 diabetes cases will continue to grow rapidly. And as these people age, you need to be prepared to care for this damaging disease.

·         Learn the signs of diabetes, what special provisions you should make and how to provide the best overall care for these residents.  

INTERVIEW, HIRE & FIRE – STAY IN COMPLIANCE – Day 2:  8 Hours

Whether you are an owner or supervisory employee, you need to know and understand certain California labor laws and regulations to comply with how to Interview, Hire and Fire employees. This course will assist you to -

·         Comply with DSS rules

·         Comply with a number of California labor laws and regulations

·         Know when to ask for a professional’s advice

·         Help you avoid potential legal issues that will cost you money

REGULATIONS UPDATE – Day 2:  2 Hours

There were several new regulations that recently went into effect – and there are more being proposed.  Do you know what they are?  Will you be prepared?  We will also discuss some future Assembly and Senate Bills that are being proposed

Your class fee includes training materials and unless otherwise noted, beverages and morning pastries.

This two day class is DSS/CCL approved for 20 hours of RCFE and ARF CEU Administrator recertification training credit.
